Nighttime Lane Restrictions on NB I-25 at US 50 B, Southbound Off Ramp Full Closure

Update: Due to unforeseeable events, the southbound, exit 100A off ramp has been rescheduled to be closed Wednesday, February 21, from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am the following morning.  All other closures will remain as scheduled.  

Rehabilitation of the bridge on Interstate 25 at US 50 B (Belmont Interchange) will require northbound I-25 to be reduced to a single lane  on Monday night, February 19, Tuesday night, February 20 and Wednesday night, February 21. Lane closures will begin each night at 8:00 pm and re-open at 5:00 am the following morning. In addition to the lane closure, the southbound, exit 100A off ramp will be closed Monday, February 19, from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am the following morning. Speeds will be reduced to 45 MPH through the work zone. The closure is necessary for crews to perform bridge repairs to extend the life of the structure.

This work is part of the $10 million, CO 96 (4^th Street) improvement project which includes intersection renovation, signal replacement, resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation. Work began in July of 2017 and will improve surface quality, enhance safety and provide improved pedestrian crossings, including upgrading ADA ramps to current standards. The project is scheduled to be complete by June of 2018.

All Media Personnel: The CO 96 project is an active construction area. Access on the project site is restricted unless accompanied by a Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) representative. Your safety is important to us, so please coordinate access requests in advance with the project team. A safe area for interviews, b-roll, etc., and a project team member will be designated for escort and will coordinate the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. We appreciate your cooperation.
