Draft 2050 Regional Transit Plans
Colorado is divided into 15 regions including 10 rural Transportation Planning Regions (TPRs) and five Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO). Each region develops a Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) that identifies the unique needs and priorities for the region. As a part of the development of those plans, a Regional Transit Plan is also created, which fulfills the federal requirement for a Coordinated Public Transit and Human Services Transportation Plan.
A draft of each Regional Transportation Plan is linked below. Please review the draft Regional Transit Plans and share your feedback to help shape a safer transportation system with more mobility options and well-maintained infrastructure across Colorado. Public comments are accepted through August 31st.
