Public Meetings for Input into Transportation Plans

As Colorado prepares to update future transportation plans and develop the state’s 2050 transportation and transit plan, CDOT and local communities are holding a series of public meetings throughout the summer and fall to solicit input from the public on recent infrastructure development and future needs.

The meetings will be held in each rural transportation planning region, the 10 groupings of counties that allow for local officials to collaborate on area needs. These gatherings will allow technical staff to share progress and accomplishments on completion of 10-Year Plan projects to date, as well as discuss needs, data and trends with members of the public.

Similar conversations in the state’s metro areas will be led by the respective metropolitan planning organizations: the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG); Grand Valley MPO (GVMPO); North Front Range MPO (NFRMPO); Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG); and Pueblo Area Council of Governments (PACOG).
