Santa Fe to Eastbound C-470 Flyover Bridge Repairs

About the Project

CDOT is completing interim repairs on the southbound Santa Fe Drive (US 85) bridge to the eastbound C-470 flyover near Pier 7 in Douglas County. During a recent inspection, the team identified structural deterioration at the pier location. Crews will repair a pier cap and column at Pier 7 to help ensure the continued safety of the traveling public. Monitoring equipment has been installed and traffic control remains in place while repairs are completed.

Project Update

  • Construction crews returned to the site on May 4 to begin Phase 2 repair work. As construction continues, CDOT will provide updated schedule information and associated traffic impacts as work progresses.

  • Crews are expected to work Monday through Saturday during daylight hours. Additional weekend and overnight work may be required for specific closures or operational needs. Work and impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.

Adjacent Construction Project Near Santa Fe and Mineral

Please be aware that the City of Littleton has a separate project underway near Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue, north of the CDOT Santa Fe to eastbound C-470 flyover bridge repair project area.

This City-led project is separate from CDOT’s bridge repair work, but both projects may affect travel in the broader Santa Fe Drive corridor. Motorists may see traffic shifts, lane closures, detours, construction equipment and changing traffic patterns near Santa Fe and Mineral while the City’s work continues.
