Santa Fe to Eastbound C-470 Flyover Bridge Repairs
About the Project
CDOT is completing interim repairs on the southbound Santa Fe Drive (US 85) bridge to the eastbound C-470 flyover near Pier 7 in Douglas County. During a recent inspection, the team identified structural deterioration at the pier location. Crews will repair a pier cap and column at Pier 7 to help ensure the continued safety of the traveling public. Monitoring equipment has been installed and traffic control remains in place while repairs are completed.
Project Update
- Crews have been working to repair a pier cap at Pier 7 to ensure the continued safety of the traveling public. As of 3 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2026, the bridge beams are being supported by the installed shoring towers.
- Ames Construction is demobilizing while plans for Phase 2 are finalized. During this time, crews will continue monitoring the shoring towers. If no issues are observed, no active construction crews are anticipated on site until next month. Once Phase 2 plans are received and a schedule is confirmed, CDOT will provide an updated project schedule and any associated traffic impacts.
