Atmos Energy work on northbound Main (US 550) – lanes open tomorrow

January 15, 2014 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - Northbound lane closure will open back up midday tomorrow.

DURANGO – As Atmos Energy completes its work to upgrade utility lines under the roadway north Main Avenue (US 550), the company reports the lane closures at 18^th Street will be lifted by midday on Thursday, January 16.

Atmos’ work will now require a closure of westbound 17^th Street (at Fassbinder Park) for about a week (with no direct impacts to Main Avenue travelers). Those wanting to access the west-side park neighborhoods will need to use an alternate street. The closure on 17^th could begin this week.
