August 29, 2014 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is reminding drivers to anticipate heavy traffic in many areas of the state over the Labor Day weekend due to the number of events and activities taking place to finish up the summer travel season.

New Connection under Construction in Castle Rock

September 3, 2014 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CASTLE ROCK – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is partnering with the Town of Castle Rock and Douglas County on the construction of North Meadows Drive, the second northern access for The Meadows and its connection to the state highway system.

Upcoming Nighttime Closures on I-25 between Lincoln to County Line

September 3, 2014 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - Lone Tree, CO – As part of an effort to widen I-25 from Lincoln Avenue to County Line Road, over the next three weeks the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be executing the following closures:

CDOT Region 5 Maintenance Activity Update: September 8-12

September 8, 2014 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - BOULDER AND LARIMER COUNTIES — Standing at the site of some of the worst destruction of last year’s floods at US 36 just out of Lyons, Gov. John Hickenlooper on Mondaycommended the work of the Colorado Department of Transportation as the organization is about to complete the first of many permanent recovery projects.

US 6 Chip Seal Project in Glenwood Springs to Start Next Week

September 10, 2014 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - GARFIELD COUNTY-The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin a chip seal project on US 6 in Glenwood Springs from Devereux Road to Hanging Lake Inn on Tuesday, September 16.

CDOT to host open house for improvements to north I-25

September 10, 2014 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - A public open house will be held to provide information about planned additional lanes on I-25 and other transportation issues including interim improvements planned for early construction, commuter rail updates, and planned 2015 express bus service.

US 6 to close overnight at Federal Boulevard Sept. 13

September 11, 2014 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER – On Saturday, Sept. 13, crews will perform critical work to prepare for the installation of a new waterline on the Federal Boulevard bridge over US 6, as part of the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) ongoing US 6 Bridges Design Build Project.
