Emergency Pothole Repairs I-25 at Thornton Parkway

March 6, 2014 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close the left lane of southbound I-25 at Thornton Parkway for emergency pothole repairs tonight at 7 p.m.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. the center lane will close as well. Both lanes will be reopened and work will be completed by 5 a.m. Friday morning.

This stretch of the roadway was closed Saturday, March 1 while crews temporarily repaired this same pothole. Due to temperatures and adverse weather, crews were unable to put a permanent repair on the roadway at that time. Motorists traveling in the area are advised to use caution. Travelers in the area during the repairs should expect delays and are reminded to Go Slow in The Cone Zone.
