CDOT hosting teleconference town hall for Phase 2 of US36 reconstruction project

June 24, 2014 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - Public invited to attend.

BOULDER AND LARIMER COUNTIES — The Colorado Department of Transportation will host a telephone town hall on Monday, June 30, at 7 p.m. to discuss the details about Phase 2 of the US 36 permanent reconstruction following last September’s devastating floods.

The telephone town hall phone call is scheduled to last for one hour and will include representatives from CDOT to answer questions about the second phase of repairs on US 36, which will start in July and continue until late fall.

While the public impacts from Phase 2 will be significantly less than the long delays from the blasting and clearing of material in Phase 1, there will be a necessary eight-day closure of the road during this process and details about how this closure will be handled with local residents will be discussed.

To participate in the town hall, call 877-229-8493 anytime between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.and enter the code 112034. For those who are unable to call Monday evening, an audio recording of the call will be available online at the project website at www.coloradodot.info/projects/floodrelatedprojects/us-36-lyons-to-estes.
