Emergency Road Damage Repairs

June 11, 2014 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - SH 145 on Lizard Head Pass – Single-lane, alternating traffic south of the summit.

DOLORES COUNTY – Colorado Department of Transportation Maintenance crews have been monitoring a roadway depression on the northbound lane of SH 145 on the south side of Lizard Head Pass (mile point 58.75). The depression has grown to about 30 yards long and shoulder and under-pavement damage has occurred.

CDOT has closed the northbound lane in this area so that repairs can begin. Motorists will encounter single-lane, alternating traffic controlled by a signal 24/7, as well as a 10-foot width restriction. A repair schedule and expected completion date will be sent later this week.
