TRAVEL ADVISORY: US Chip Seal Project Near State Line Starts Tuesday

July 18, 2014 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - LA PLATA COUNTY— Crews from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) are starting a chip seal project on US 550 at the state line beginning, Tuesday, July 22. The project will be in the northbound lanes from mile marker 0 to 3.

TRAVEL IMPACTS:  Traffic will not be stopped but the speed will be reduced to 40 mph through the work zone.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane northbound.  Southbound traffic will not be affected.  Motorists are encouraged to review CDOT’s lane closure reports online at http://www.coloradodot.info/travel/scheduled-lane-closures.html.
