Lane reduction planned on SH 93 in Boulder starting Thursday

August 11, 2014 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - BOULDER — Highway 93 from SH 170 to SH 128 in Boulder will see a slight light reduction resulting in traffic delays starting Thursday through Nov. 13 due to extensive resurfacing and widening of the roadway in that area.

The roadway will be reduced to one lane travelling in each direction.

Work on this project will also include a pedestrian underpass just north of the community ditch. The underpass will tie into the city’s trail system.

The project will create more room between motorists and cyclists riding along the highway, will reduce the potential for collisions by providing an underpass for the safety of trail users, and will create a smoother highway surface for all who travel on SH 93.
