CDOT and State Patrol Work Together to Improve I-70 Winter Driving Experience

November 13, 2014 - Central/Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - STATEWIDE — Expanding last year’s Change Your Peak Time campaign, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), Colorado State Patrol (CSP), I-70 Coalition and other partners are working together to improve safety and mobility for everyone who uses I-70 to enjoy quality time in the mountains.

Flyover Bridge for Eastbound US34 near Wiggins closed Tuesday

November 17, 2014 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - MORGAN COUNTY – The eastbound flyover bridge of US34 at I-76 near Wiggins will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. near Wiggins on Tuesday so crews can do repair work on the bridge deck.

Reconstruction of SH 86 (Founders Parkway) to Pause for Holiday Season

November 18, 2014 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - Castle Rock,CO – After nearly three months of construction, The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will pause work on the reconstruction of a 1.3-mile segment of SH 86 (Founders Parkway) from I-25 to Woodlands Boulevard in Castle Rock.

CDOT Rehabilitating Bridge on Eastbound I-70 at 32nd Avenue

November 19, 2014 - Denver Metro/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will perform an emergency bridge rehabilitation on eastbound I-70 at 32nd Avenue, following several recent smaller emergency repairs.

Highway 115 Intersection Closed for Paving Tomorrow

November 21, 2014 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - Cañon City – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close the south side of the Royal Gorge Boulevard (U.S. 50)/South 9th Street (State Highway 115) intersection tomorrow for paving operations.

CDOT set to demolish “Eyesore” next week

November 21, 2014 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - Colorado Springs – The long awaited demolition of the old Express Inn at U.S. 24 and 8th Street marks the end of a local eyesore and preparation for next year’s reconstruction of the Interstate 25/Cimarron Interchange.

Glenwood Canyon Bike Path Closed for the Season

November 21, 2014 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - GARFIELD/EAGLE COUNTY – Crews from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) have closed the gates to the Glenwood Canyon bike path for the winter.
