Traffic Stops underway near Conifer for Rock Work

May 18, 2015 - Central/Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - JEFFERSON COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) started work today to remove rocks and other natural materials from a hillside as part of slope repair project on U.S. 285, northeast of Conifer.

Mount Evans Road Opening Delayed

May 19, 2015 - Central/Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will not open the Mount Evans Highway to traffic by Memorial Day weekend, due to heavy amounts of snowfall in May.

SH71 set for a hard-close following flood damage

May 20, 2015 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - SNYDER – The permanent repair project from the 2013 floods on SH 71 was severely damaged by the 2015 floods which has caused the stretch to be closed indefinitely.

May 21, 2015 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is filling potholes today on northbound and southbound Interstate 25 between South Academy Boulevard and Woodmen Road.

Ackerman Overlook Open Again

May 21, 2015 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) reopened the Ackerman Overlook on Interstate 25 today after being closed for new road construction in spring 2013.

Highway 24 Business Closed

May 21, 2015 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - MANITOU SPRINGS — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has closed U.S. 24 Business (Manitou Avenue) between the roundabout at Serpentine Drive and mainline Highway 24 due to cracks that have formed in the westbound lanes of the roadway.
