U.S. 6 Traffic Realigned in Golden

July 26, 2016 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - GOLDEN — Traffic on eastbound and westbound U.S. 6 now is using the new two-lane off- and on-ramps at 19th Street to travel through the area as work begins to build a new overpass at the current intersection.

A reduced speed limit is in place and the traffic signals continue to operate at 19th Street. Traffic will remain in this configuration up to one year.

The realignment is part of the U.S. 6/19th Street Interchange Project, owned by the City of Golden, with oversight from the Colorado Department of Transportation.  It is scheduled for completion in fall 2017.  For more information, please go to: www.cityofgolden.net/live/linking-lookout/
