Union Pacific Railroad work on CO 131 requires full-day closure at Bond

July 21, 2016 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - EAGLE COUNTY —Crews from the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) will be replacing rail through the crossing on CO 131 at mile point 16.25 through Bond on Monday, July 25.

 The only day of a full closure will be Monday.  Preliminary work will begin on Sunday, July 24 with flaggers ushering motorists through the work zone and again on Tuesday, July 26.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS: Hours of operation are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. each day but UPRR will reopen the highway earlier on Monday if the work is completed. On Sunday and Tuesday motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays during flagging operations. Alternate routes around the closure from the northeast are CO 9, Co 134 and US 40 and from the northwest CO 13.
