Project Breaks Ground after Labor Day

CHAFFEE COUNTY, CO – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Town of Buena Vista advises the public that the anticipated start of the US 24 Enhancement Project has been tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016.  

CDOT Resident Engineer Arthur Miller said, “The project team continues to coordinate and manage several aspects of pre-construction activity. Our prime contractor, A&S Construction will tentatively break ground following Labor Day – a holiday weekend for which Buena Vista could see significant tourist traffic.”
