Lane closure at Twin Tunnels resumes Monday night

February 2, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be closing one lane of Interstate 70 through the Twin Tunnels next week for inspection work.

One lane of eastbound I-70 will be closed through the eastbound tunnel during the following hours:

Monday, February 6, 8 p.m. through Tuesday, February 7, 11 a.m.
Tuesday, February 7, 5 p.m. through Saturday, February 11, 10 a.m.

Drivers should anticipate some delays approaching the tunnel, especially during daytime hours. However, CDOT will monitor traffic and adjust and/or remove the lane closure if long backups develop.
