Highway 67 Closed due to Bridge Failure

August 1, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has closed State Highway (SH) 67 to through traffic between Florence and Wetmore until further notice due to bridge damage from heavy rain storms last night.

US 40 Rockfall Mitigation Project Complete

August 1, 2012 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has finished its rockfall prevention project in Mount Harris Canyon between Steamboat Springs and Craig near the town of Hayden.

State Highway 72 Resurfacing Project Finished

August 1, 2012 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has finished its highway resurfacing project on State Highway (SH) 72 between mile marker (MM) 32 in Nederland at the intersection of SH 119 to MM 54 in Raymond at the intersection of SH 7.

Resurfacing Project Underway on I-76 near I-25

August 1, 2012 - Denver Metro Area/CDOT Region 6 - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) recently began a three-mile resurfacing project on I-76 between Federal Boulevard (US 287) and I-25 in order to increase the quality and smoothness of the roadway.

Paving to Cause Delays on I-25 Near Lincoln Avenue on Friday Night

August 2, 2012 - Denver Metro Area/CDOT Region 6 - On Friday, August 3, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will pave a portion of northbound I-25 near Lincoln Avenue as part of an ongoing resurfacing project that paves approximately one mile of northbound and southbound I-25 between Lincoln Avenue and C-470 in asphalt.

Ports-to-Plains Route Completed in Colorado

August 2, 2012 - Central/Southeastern Colorado/CDOT 1- The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Ports-to-Plains Alliance celebrated the grand opening of U.S. 40/287 through the Town of Kit Carson at a ribbon cutting ceremony today, signifying the completion of the Ports-to-Plains Corridor on its original alignment in Colorado.

August 6, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - FREMONT COUNTY – State Highway (SH) 67 remains closed to through traffic between Florence and Wetmore after last week’s rainstorm heavily damaged a bridge crossing a normally dry channel, five miles north of Wetmore.
