Rockfall Work on US 160 Yellow Jacket, West of Pagosa Springs

May 29, 2012 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - ARCHULETA COUNTY – Today, the Colorado Department of Transportation is beginning a project to reduce the potential for rockfall on US 160 on Yellow Jacket Pass, mile point 115.6, about 15 miles east of Bayfield and just west of Chimney Rock. Rockfall contractor Yenter Companies Inc. is mobilizing equipment to the site today and lane closures will begin tomorrow.

Sign Installation Closing I-25 Tonight; US 24 Tomorrow

May 30, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is installing new signs across Interstate 25 and U.S. 24 over the next couple of nights, requiring both highways to be completed closed overnight.

Parker Road Paving Set to Start

May 30, 2012 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - PARKER – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) begins resurfacing State Highway 83 (Parker Road) between Lincoln Avenue and Cottonwood Drive on Sunday, June 3.

Clear Creek Canyon Reopens Tomorrow

May 31, 2012 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - JEFFERSON COUNTY – U.S. 6 though Clear Creek Canyon opens for the weekend at 10 a.m. tomorrow between the junction of State Highways (SH) 58 and 93 in Golden and SH 119.

CDOT Announces a Redraft of Environmental Document Guiding Outcome on I-70 East Corridor

May 31, 2012 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER--The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is announcing that it will be redrafting the Draft Environmental Impact Statement that serves as the basis for future improvements to the Interstate 70 East Corridor from Brighton Boulevard to Tower Road in Denver.
