Sign Installation in Pueblo Continues Next Week

June 8, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) canceled last night’s sign installation project on Interstate 25 due to high winds and is rescheduling the work for next week.

I-25 will be closed overnight, as follows:

  • Monday, June 11: I-25 southbound CLOSED at 10 p.m., just north of Eagleridge Boulevard.  Traffic detours south on N. Elizabeth Street, east on U.S. 50 to I-25.  Highway reopens at 5 a.m. Tuesday.
  • Tuesday, June 12, and Wednesday, June 13: I-25 northbound CLOSED at 10 p.m., just south of 29th Street.  Traffic detours east on 29th to Dillon Drive, north on Dillon to State Highway 47, east on SH 47 to I-25.  Highway reopens at 5 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

New signs are being installed to meet updated standards and guidelines, including slight design changes to improve visibility for drivers.
