CDOT Crews Paving US 385 South of Idalia Next Week

August 9, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - YUMA COUNTY — From Monday August 13 through Thursday, August 16, maintenance crews from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be performing asphalt patching operations on US 385 south of Idalia from mile marker (MM) 207 to MM 209.

Highway 231 Paving Next Week

August 9, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is paving the two-mile segment of State Highway 231 on Monday, August 13, and Tuesday, August 14. This highway runs between U.S. 50 in Devine and U.S. 50 Business Route in Vineland.

Both Lanes of Westbound I-70 Reopened Near Dotsero

August 10, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - EAGLE COUNTY — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has reopened both lanes of westbound I-70 at mile marker 129, west of the Dotsero exit near Hanging Lakes Tunnel.

Update: Highway 67 near Cripple Creek

August 13, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - TELLER COUNTY – State Highway 67 remains closed to all traffic just north of Cripple Creek. Yesterday, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) drill crews drilled into the sinkhole to determine its depth and dimensions and the scope of required repairs.

Bridge Deck Pour to Close I-225 Near Yale Avenue this Weekend

August 15, 2012 - Denver Metro Area/CDOT Region 6 - Starting at 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 18th and continuing until 6 a.m. on Sunday, August 19th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close northbound and southbound I-225 between Iliff Avenue and Parker Road in order to pour the bridge deck for the new Yale Avenue bridge over I-225. Detour routes will in place overnight, but alternate routes are strongly advised.

I-25 Improvement Project Underway Next Week

August 15, 2012 - Central/Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) begins surface and safety improvements along the 11-mile segment of Interstate 25 between the Douglas/El Paso County Line and Tomah Road on Sunday, August 19.

I-70 Twin Tunnels Weekly Traffic Advisory

August 16, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – Traffic stops and lane closures will be taking place on Interstate 70 at the Twin Tunnels next week for geological testing.

CDOT Seeking Transit Information for I-70 Mountain Corridor

August 16, 2012 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER – As part of its Interstate 70 Mountain Corridor Advanced Guideway System (AGS) Feasibility Study, the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT’s) Division of Transit and Rail (DTR) is set to begin collecting information from existing and developing high-speed transit technology providers.

Colorado Byways Receive Funding

August 16, 2012 - Statewide Transportation Plan - DENVER – Colorado’s Scenic and Historic Byways program is receiving more than $1.5 million for 10 projects as part of the 2012 federal funding cycle from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
