Ramp Closure This Weekend from Northbound I-25 to US 50/SH 47

September 12, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO – The Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) is closing the ramp from northbound Interstate 25 to U.S. 50/State Highway 47 at 9 a.m. Friday morning, September 14, allowing the old road surface to be replaced with new concrete pavement.

It is scheduled to reopen on Monday, September 17, at 5 a.m.

While the ramp is closed, traffic can detour by exiting at 29th Street (Exit 100B), west on 29th to Elizabeth Street, and north on Elizabeth to U.S. 50, or exit at Eagleridge Boulevard (Exit 102), west on Eagleridge to Elizabeth, and south on Elizabeth to U.S. 50.

The closure is part of the road and bridge improvement project at the Interstate 25/U.S. 50/State Highway 47 Interchange. Work consists of removing and replacing concrete road panels, rehabilitating the bridge deck, installing new expansion joints and upgrades to the irrigation system.
