State Highway 392 Resurfacing Project in Windsor Complete

October 30, 2012 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - Project finishes on time, budget.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has finished the State Highway (SH) 392 resurfacing project in Windsor east of I-25 that began in May 2012. Concrete and asphalt was laid from just east of the I-25 intersection, where work is underway on an unrelated project, to just west of SH 257 in Windsor (roughly 5.5 miles). In September, CDOT and the town of Windsor worked together to extend the project through the town in order to maximize resources and reduce future impacts to motorists.

“We want to thank the community for their patience throughout the course of this project,” said Project Engineer Nicki Upright. “We had a few complications arise during the work, and the understanding of the town and public was much appreciated. With the project now complete, everyone can enjoy the benefits of a much smoother roadway.”

Lawson Construction was the contractor for this $5.5 million project.
