Oversized Load Restriction Set for Wolf Creek Pass

May 31, 2016 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - MINERAL COUNTY, WOLF CREEK PASS - Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has announced an oversized load restriction for US 160 Wolf Creek Pass later this week, Thursday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

CDOT maintenance crews will be cleaning and washing the walls of the snowshed and the tunnel, both located on the east side of the pass.

Regular two-way traffic (east and west bound) will be maintained at all times, with a lane shift. However, due to space constraints and cleaning equipment required for the job, no oversized loads will be allowed during the four hour time frame (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
