Travel Advisory

May 5, 2023 - Northeastern Colorado - To safely pave the new permanent concrete on-ramp, a weekend-long full closure of the southbound I-25 on-ramp from eastbound US 34 will take place from the night of May 12 until the morning of May 15

Loveland – I-25 widening and US Highway 34 interchange reconstruction progresses as crews continue interstate widening and ramp reconstruction work. To safely pave the new permanent concrete on-ramp, a weekend-long full closure of the southbound I-25 on-ramp from eastbound US 34 will take place from the night of May 12 until the morning of May 15.

The new US 34 bridge adds an additional through lane in each direction, reconfigures the on- and off-ramps to accommodate the I-25 widening and provides operational improvements through the interchange. The project will also increase capacity on I-25 by adding an Express Lane in both directions, constructing inside and outside shoulders, and replacing aging bridges. The project will also improve multimodal access to regional transit.

Travel Impacts

  • Full closure of the southbound I-25 on-ramp from eastbound US 34 will take place from 7 p.m., Friday, May 12, through 5 a.m., Monday, May 15
  • Southbound I-25 on-ramp traffic will go north on I-25 to Exit 259/Crossroads Boulevard. Traffic will exit, turn left, and continue onto southbound I-25
