- Traffic Control Supervisor Training: Local Agency personnel, and their consultants who
are involved in the development, design, implementation, operation, inspection, and
enforcement of work-zone-related transportation management and traffic control are
required to take and pass a 2-day Traffic Control Supervisor training. Cost: Free
- Pedestrian Facility Design Training: This full-day training updates participants on current safety concerns as well as countermeasures to provide safe and comfortable pedestrian facilities along highways and arterial roads. Cost: Free

inspectors—whether from CDOT or a consultant—must demonstrate proficiency by passing the
required exams and earning certification within the developed categories. Licensed Professional
Engineers do not need to take the exams. Cost: Varies by course or exam.
