Landslide Mitigation and Highway Improvements Resume on US 160 East of Pagosa Springs

April 19, 2011 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - ARCHULETA COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor Tricon 2, LLC, are resuming a project this week to mitigate a landslide area that has been impacting a section of US 160 east of Pagosa Springs. The Jackson Mountain Slide area lies five miles east of Pagosa, near mile point 151.

Glenwood Canyon Concrete Resurfacing Project Update

April 20, 2011 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Traffic Switch Today! GLENWOOD SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation has begun major resurfacing of the eastbound lanes on I-70 in Glenwood Canyon today, April 20.

I-70 Traffic Stops Next Week at Georgetown Hill

April 21, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is planning to stop traffic on Interstate 70 at Georgetown Hill on Tuesday, April 26, while rockfall fencing or rock removals are taking place in areas above the highway. Traffic stops are required to maximize safety for the traveling public.

Paving on Highway 115 Resumes Next Week

April 21, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - FREMONT COUNTY – Rotomilling and paving operations will continue in the Florence area for a few more days after rain delayed the project this week. Work initially was scheduled to be completed on Friday, April, 22, but now is scheduled to continue through Wednesday, April 27.

I-25 Bridge Work Underway in Pueblo

April 27, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO – Bridge repairs by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will require overnight lane and ramp closures on Interstate 25 for the next few weeks.

April 27, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is canceling its planned traffic stops on Interstate 70 at Georgetown Hill for tomorrow – Thursday, April 28.

Daytime Bridge Closure on 9th Street This Week

April 27, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - CAŇON CITY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be closing the 9th Street Bridge over the Arkansas River (State Highway 115) to traffic on Friday, April 29, for bridge deck repairs, weather permitting.

Rock Scaling on US 40 Mt. Harris Canyon This Friday

April 28, 2011 - WEATHER PENDING - Traffic control will be set up at 8 AM, expect delays throughout day. Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - ROUTT COUNTY – On Friday, April 29, the Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor Yenter Companies will conduct some more rock scaling on US 40 in Mt. Harris Canyon, this time at mile point 113.7.
