The following lane closures will be in place, weather permitting:

May 2, 2012

Westbound US 36 from just east of Church Ranch Boulevard to Wadsworth Boulevard:  The right lane of westbound US 36 will be closed from 7 p.m. tonight until 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

Eastbound US 36 from Wadsworth Boulevard east one mile: The right lane of eastbound US 36 will be closed from 7 p.m. tonight until 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

May 3, 2012

Westbound US 36 between Federal Boulevard and 92nd Avenue:  The right lane of westbound US 36 will be closed from 7 p.m. on Thursday until 5:30 a.m. on Friday.

The $312 million multi-modal project will build an express lane in each direction on US 36 from Federal Boulevard to 88th Street in Louisville/Superior. The lanes will accommodate High Occupancy Vehicles (HOV), Bus Rapid Transit and tolled Single Occupancy Vehicles. In addition, the project will replace several bridges, build a commuter bikeway, add Bus Rapid Transit improvements, and install Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) for tolling, transit, and traveler information, and incident management.

Ames/Granite Joint Venture team is the design-build contractor for the project, which is scheduled to begin in the summer 2012 and open to the public in January 2015.
