Old Highway 24 Closed due to Road Damage

August 13, 2013 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - MANITOU SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has closed about ½ mile of U.S. 24 Business (Manitou Avenue), at the west end of town, after flooding damaged and weakened segments of the roadway, making it unsafe for travel (see picture).

August 15, 2013 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - DENVER – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) signed the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for improvements to Interstate 25 through Pueblo Thursday, August 15th.

August 22, 2013 - PROJECT UPDATE - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - TELLURIDE – During the week of August 25, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and contractor Williams Construction will shift traffic from the current temporary roundabout onto the newly completed permanent roundabout on State Highway (SH) 145 near Telluride.
