Lane closures for the week of Dec. 14:

Monday: Overnight southbound I-25 double right lane closure between CO 60 and CO 56.

Thursday through Dec. 21: Southbound I-25 off-ramp closure at WCR 34.

Friday: Intermittent stops with flaggers on southbound I-25 off-ramp at WCR 34.

Saturday: Southbound I-25 left lane closures between CO 56 and WCR 32.

Saturday: Overnight southbound I-25 on-ramp closures at WCR 34 and CO 56.
The speed limit on the project has been lowered to 65 mph. Please obey speed limit signs.
Starting Monday at 5 a.m., through Monday, Dec. 22 at 5 a.m., the bus ramps at the Berthoud Mobility Hub at I-25 and Colorado Highway 56 will be closed for concrete repair work. Buses
will pick up riders in the adjacent Park-N-Ride parking lot.
Monday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., there will be various I-25 lane closures for concrete roadway maintenance, including southbound I-25 double right lane closures, a northbound I-25 Express Lane closure, and a northbound I-25 left lane closure between CO 56 and Colorado Highway 60.
Monday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., the southbound I-25 on-ramp at CO 60 will be temporarily closed for concrete roadway maintenance.
- Traffic intending to enter southbound I-25 will travel north to Colorado Highway 402 (exit 255), turn around and enter southbound I-25.
Tuesday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., there will be various north- and southbound I-25 mobile single lane closures between CO 56 and CO 60 for concrete roadway maintenance.
Starting Thursday at 9 p.m. through Sunday, Dec. 21 at 5 a.m., the southbound I-25 off-ramp at Weld County Road 34 will be temporarily closed for striping operations to prepare for a traffic switch to a new lane alignment.
- Traffic exiting I-25 at WCR 34 will continue south to Colorado Highway 66, turn around and travel north to exit 245.
Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be brief intermittent stops with flaggers on the southbound I-25 off-ramp at WCR 34 for striping operations to prepare for a traffic switch.
Saturday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., there will be temporary full closures of the southbound I-25 on-ramp at CO 56, the southbound I-25 on-ramp at WCR 34, and southbound I-25 left and right lane closures between CO 56 and Weld County Road 32, to shift traffic, move barriers and
stripe the roadway. Motorists should follow posted detour signs and expect delays.
- Detour for southbound I-25 on-ramp at CO 56 closure:
- Traffic intending to enter southbound I-25 will travel north to CO 60 (exit 252), turn around and enter southbound I-25.
- Detour for southbound I-25 on-ramp at WCR 34 closure:
- Traffic on WCR 34 intending to enter southbound I-25 will travel north to CO 60 (exit 252), turn around and enter southbound I-25.
Additional Closures:
A temporary closure of Valley Road is ongoing to allow crews to reconstruct the bridge over the road. This closure will be in place through 2025. Motorists should plan accordingly, as no detour route is available.
Southbound I-25 traffic shifted to the northbound lanes between Colorado Highway 56 and Colorado Highway 66 into a head-to-head configuration and will be in place through 2025.
Approximately one mile of the southbound I-25 Express Lane, between mile points 251 and 250, from approximately Weld County Road 44 to Weld County Road 46, is closed through late 2027.
The I-25 North Express Lanes, Berthoud to Fort Collins, opened in December 2023 and finalized finishing touches in the spring of 2024.
Since then, the Express Lanes have been open for use in a testing phase, allowing drivers to take advantage of the new Express Lanes, without paying a toll.
The Express Lanes are currently anticipated to begin tolling in early 2026. Once tolling begins in 2026, motorists are encouraged to sign up for an ExpressToll account to save an average of 40% on tolls.

Drivers are encouraged to try the Express Lanes by entering through the dashed white lines. When using the lanes, drivers are reminded to follow these rules to ensure the safety of everyone on the
road:
- Do not cross the solid white lines (tickets for violations start at $75 each).
- Enter and exit at the designated areas only, which are marked with a white dotted line.
- Obey posted speed limits. The Express Lanes cannot be used to pass slower moving vehicles.
