CDOT Upgrading Traveler Information Signs Along Some Highways

February 17, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - GARFIELD, GRAND, HUERFANO, MESA, MOFFAT, PITKIN, SUMMIT, AND SAN MIGUEL COUNTIES - Beginning today and lasting over the next several months, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be improving communications with travelers throughout the state by upgrading Intelligent Transportation Systems on several area highways by installing new variable message signs (VMS) in multiple locations.

Colorado High Performance Transportation Enterprise Releases Request for Qualifications for Phase 2 of the US 36 Improvement Project

February 22, 2012 - Statewide Transportation Plan - DENVER – Yesterday, the Colorado High Performance Transportation Enterprise (HPTE) released a request for qualifications (RFQ) for a public-private partnership (P3) for Phase 2 of the US 36 Managed Lanes/Bus Rapid Transit project, the phase that will complete improvements to the corridor between Denver and Boulder.

February 23, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - JEFFERSON COUNTY – Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, February 24th and continuing until 6 a.m. on Monday, February 27th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will completely close State Highway (SH) 93 between SH 72 and SH 128 for culvert replacement.

February 27, 2012 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be stopping traffic on Interstate 70 at Georgetown Hill tomorrow and Wednesday for rock mitigation work, weather permitting.

Transportation Commission Approves FASTER Funds for Transit

February 29, 2012 - Statewide Transportation Plan - DENVER – Bus operators, cities, counties and other entities are receiving a financial boost after the Colorado Transportation Commission awarded $14 million of FASTER (Funding Advancement for Surface Transportation & Economic Recovery) funds for statewide and regional transit projects for Fiscal Year 2013.
