Southbound I-25 on-ramp closed at CO 119 from Sept. 10 through Sept. 25

September 8, 2023 - Northeastern Colorado - Detour uses local street and frontage road for access

Weld County – The I-25 southbound on-ramp at Colorado Highway 119 will be closed from Sunday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. to Monday, Sept. 25, at 5 a.m. Zak Dirt will be removing and replacing the current inlet on the ramp to increase the drainage capacity for the on-ramp. Damaged panels will also be replaced on the existing off-ramp. Improvements will be made to the east-west pedestrian crosswalk on the south side of the intersection of CO 119 and southbound frontage road.

Detour Route

To access I-25 southbound from CO 119, travel south on Turner Boulevard and follow the detour signs to access the frontage road. Access to the Circle K gas station and McDonalds’s will be from Turner also.

  • Turn on headlights so that workers and other drivers can see you.
  • Be especially alert at night while driving in work zones.
  • Expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
  • Allow ample space between you and the car in front of you.
  • Anticipate lane shifts and merge when directed to do so.
  • Be patient!
