US 350 closed due to storm damage

July 20, 2023 - Southeastern Colorado - Heavy rain damaged a detour bridge Wednesday night

Otero County - US 350 is closed between Beshoar Junction (US 350/US160 intersection near Trinidad) and the US 350/CO 71 junction near La Junta after heavy rain Wednesday night damaged a detour bridge, 10 miles northeast of Delhi. Construction is underway at the site to replace an 87-year-old structure.

The Colorado Department of Transportation expects the highway to remain closed for a couple of days while repairs take place. Drivers should use CO 10 and I-25 as the detour route between La Junta and Trinidad.
